The lore
It started with three colours.
Like most good XRPL lore, it began with a riddle. Three stockings: one green, one yellow, one purple. The timeline did what it always does. Someone brightened the image, someone zoomed into a corner nobody else had checked, and by morning the replies were longer than the riddle.
The colours never went away. Green stayed close to XRP. Yellow kept appearing next to a name the community could not stop talking about. Purple was already the colour of payment rails millions of people use every week. Three colours turned into three letters, and the letters spelled something.
Nobody confirmed a thing, and nobody needed to. XYZ is what the XRPL community on X does with a good theory: put it on the ledger, so everyone can hold a piece of it.
- Ledger green
X is for
XRP
The ledger
Where every thread starts. The XRP Ledger settles in seconds, costs a fraction of a cent to use and has never needed a single miner. That is why it wears green, and why it gets the first letter.
- Signal yellow
Y is for
Yellow
The signal
The name the replies would not let go of. Every time someone traced a riddle to the end, a flash of yellow sat right next to the purple. Some call it a hint, some call it a coincidence. Everyone screenshots it.
- Rail purple
Z is for
Zelle
The rails
Purple rails that millions of people already use to send money. One of the oldest theories on XRP X says faster settlement ends up underneath everyday payments, and purple is the colour that theory has always worn.
This is community lore, not a partnership announcement. XYZ has no connection to Ripple, Yellow Network or Zelle, and none of them endorse it.
Tokenomics
One billion XYZ. Nothing hidden.
The initial supply is 1,000,000,000 XYZ. Everything outside the 5% dev allocation is community supply, and the dev share is locked at launch and released a quarter at a time.

Dev unlock schedule
25% every 3 months. Fully unlocked at month 12.
The dev allocation starts fully locked. A quarter of it, 12,500,000 XYZ, is released every 3 months, so it never moves all at once and everyone can see what comes next.

How to buy
Four steps on the XRP Ledger.
XYZ lives on the XRP Ledger, so all you need is an XRPL wallet, a little XRP and the right trustline.
Step 1: Get an XRPL wallet
Install Xaman or any XRP Ledger wallet that supports trustlines. Write your secret down offline and never share it with anyone.
Get XamanStep 2: Add some XRP
Send XRP to your wallet from the exchange you use. Every XRP Ledger account keeps a small reserve, so add a little extra to cover the account and the XYZ trustline.
Step 3: Set the XYZ trustline
Add a trustline for the currency code XYZ with the official issuer address on this page. The issuer is what makes it the real XYZ, not the name.
Step 4: Swap XRP for XYZ
Use your wallet's swap or any XRP Ledger DEX to trade XRP for XYZ. Check the issuer one more time before you confirm.
Born on the timeline. Kept alive by it.
XYZ was not drafted in a boardroom. It was pieced together in replies, quote posts and late night threads by the XRPL community on X. Bring your theory, your memes and your best colour-coded screenshot.
FAQ
Questions the timeline keeps asking.
Short answers to the things people ask most before they set a trustline.
What is XYZ?
XYZ is a community token on the XRP Ledger built around the lore of X for XRP, Y for Yellow and Z for Zelle, and the green, yellow and purple colours that tie them together. It started as a running theory among the XRPL community on X.
What is the initial supply?
The initial supply is 1,000,000,000 XYZ. The dev allocation is 5% of it, 50,000,000 XYZ. The other 95%, 950,000,000 XYZ, is community supply.
How does the dev allocation unlock?
It starts fully locked. 25% of it, 12,500,000 XYZ, is released every 3 months, so it is fully unlocked 12 months after launch. Each release adds 1.25% of the initial supply.
Which network is XYZ on?
The XRP Ledger. You hold XYZ in any XRPL wallet that supports trustlines and trade it against XRP on the ledger's built-in exchange.
How do I make sure I have the real XYZ?
Anyone can issue a token called XYZ on the XRP Ledger, so the name proves nothing. Only the issuer address published on this page and on the official X account is real. Check it every time you set a trustline or swap.
Is XYZ connected to Ripple, Yellow or Zelle?
No. XYZ is an independent community token. Those names are part of the lore and nothing more, and none of the companies behind them have endorsed, sponsored or partnered with XYZ.
Is XYZ an investment?
No. XYZ is a community meme token with no promise of value or returns. Crypto prices can drop to zero, so only use money you can afford to lose.
